In a few days, Siobhan and I will be off on our honeymoon to Europe! We're flying through Singapore, then spending a week each in Rome, Florence, and Paris. To honour this special occasion, I have redesigned the website (that old design was entirely too '2003'). If I have a chance, I hope to post a few reports here.
In the meantime... the wedding. It was excellent! Because Siobhan's family had to fly all the way to New Zealand - and we couldn't afford to fly any of her American friends or extended family - we deliberately kept the whole wedding to immediate family only. We also tried our best to keep it elegant, but quirky. Those of you following Siobhan's blog will know about the various quirks that we introduced: the cheese cake (as in, a cake actually made of cheese), the button flowers (as in, flowers made of buttons and felt), and a few others.
Everything went flawlessly. Well, as flawlessly as could be expected. Siobhan looked gorgeous, I looked (I'm told) very dapper, I'm now sporting a sporty wedding ring of chunky white gold, and we couldn't be happier.
